Volunteer Benefits

One of the biggest reasons to volunteer your time is the opportunity to learn and teach. Maybe you're good at painting nails, singing, telling stories, or even offering emotional support. Whatever your talent, there's a place for you to shine within volunteering! In our industry, there is a wealth of experience and knowledge that our residents can share with you as well. We encourage you to come in with an open mind and soak up the rich history of life experiences that our residents have to offer. You may come in thinking you'll be teaching a new skill to a resident, but many of our volunteers find they learn more than they teach!

If you're looking to meet new peers you can certainly find them by volunteering! We employ people ages 15+ so regardless what level of social experience you're looking for it can likely be found here. Caring for residents creates an environment where it's easy to bond with fellow volunteers, employees, and members of the community to build lasting friendships!

If you're considering a career in health care, volunteering with us is a great way to see what areas of health care might be right for you and to make connections already working in the industry. Whether you're headed off to college or looking to change career directions, you can volunteer and learn about all the different areas within our industry to decide which path might be best for you. Making connections with company leaders is always beneficial for your future whether it comes in the form of a letter of recommendation, a referral to an open position, or just support in making a career decision. It's also an opportunity to learn important job skills that you can use in the future. Come in, be a responsible volunteer, and open doors for yourself!

Many people get a sense of fulfillment by helping others. Volunteering is a selfless way to feel good about the work you're doing, step back from the reality of life, and help enrich the lives of others. It's a wonderful experience to be able to bring a smile or a bit of laughter to someone you just met. Join our volunteer team today!

If you're interested in volunteering at any of our communities or within our Hospice division, please contact us through the website or by calling the facility you're interested in and ask for the Life Enrichment Director.
