Kate Dorsey
Administrator, Sprenger Health Care Village of the Falls
Kate earned her Bachelor of Science in both Long-Term Health Care Administration and Gerontology from Bowling Green State University. She began her career in long term care in 1993 as a dietary aide and State Tested Nurse’s Aide. Post college, she gained experience in Admissions, Marketing, Independent Living and Assisted Living. Kate believed that gaining experience in each of these departments would yield a greater understanding of how to coordinate and lead people to deliver quality service and care in a culture that fosters engagement, excellence, and growth for our healthcare professionals and seniors.
Kate has previously held Administrator positions at both Autumn Aegis Retirement Community and Towne Center Community Campus prior to returning to Sprenger Health Care in 2019 to become the Executive Director at Village of the Falls in Olmsted Falls, OH.
Her passion for working with older adults and their families stems from her family. The beliefs and values instilled from her parents and nine siblings, learned by way of a genuine service for others approach to life. Kate finds her greatest satisfaction helping people—specifically older adults and families—navigate this chapter of their lives through transparent communication, education and compassion.
